These clients built a new structure to replace an unsalvageable old farmhouse. The desire to keep the romance of the farm was combined with contemporary finishes, appliances and technologies. Optimal spatial planning and flow were especially important when considering the great room where we incorporated a large farmhouse table for dinner parties as well as comfortable upholstered seating, making a versatile, comfortable space for daily activities and special event. A disciplined color palate was applied along with a mix of carefully selected antiques and contemporary touches.
